A stile to National Trust land leads from the garden to the  Southwest Coast Path footpath, Ballard Down and Old Harry rocks and for the thirsty & hungry - the Banks Arms at Studland with miles of golden beaches
The beach
There are 3 'Blue Flag' beaches together lining Swanage Bay. Town beach, middle beach and the quiet North beach
Swanage Heritage Railway run  a regular service to Corfe Castle and beyond with full catering facilities
The Isle of Purbeck and Poole Harbour are renowned for all year birdwatching. Brands Bay hide (left) is 10 minutes away in the car.
